"What Does Change Mean? A Conversation With Roland Martin."

The Birmingham Association of Black Journalists is hosting its annual Newsmaker Scholarship Event, this year titled "What Does Change Mean? A Conversation With Roland Martin."

Martin is a CNN contributor and was a key member of its political coverage during the 2008 presidential election. He is also a nationally syndicated columnist and recently served as executive editor of the Chicago Defender.

The event is Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the Birmingham Museum of Art at 7:00 p.m. with a VIP reception and art exhibit preview beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets are $30 for general seating for the 7:00 p.m. show

Tickets including a VIP Reception, preview of the Birmingham Museum of Art's newest exhibit and reserved seating for the event are available for $50. The VIP reception will be from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
