"Peter Max Paints America" Exhibit
This exhibit will include Peter Max's Presidential portraits, the 100 Clinton portraits, and other works. As a painter for four former U.S. Presidents (Carter, Ford, Bush and Reagan), Max was approached in 1993 by the inaugural committee to create posters for Bill Clinton's inauguration.
Max is a multi-dimensional creative artist. He has worked with oils, acrylics, watercolors, finger paints, dyes, pastels, charcoal, pen, multi-colored pencils, etchings, engravings, animation cells, lithographs, serigraphs, silk screens, ceramics, sculpture, collage, video, and computer graphics. He loves all media, including mass media as a "canvas" for his creative expression.
