National Train Day At Tampa Union Station

Tampa's historic 1912 Union Station comes alive on National Train Day! Enjoy live music, railroad equipment displays, a model railroad exposition, and exhibits from local history museums. Celebrate railroading's past, present and future!

National Train Day commemorates the 140th anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad at Promontory Summit, Utah. The event is sponsored locally by the Florida Coalition of Rail Passengers, the National Association of Railroad Passengers, Friends of Tampa Union Station, and Amtrak.
