Disney's HalloweenTime
Little ghouls and goblins can celebrate the Halloween season at the "happiest place on earth" during October when Disneyland adds an autumn and Halloween theme to both Disneyland Resort parks. Show up in your Halloween costume and have your photo taken with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and friends dressed in their favorite get-ups as well.
The Realm Makeover:
Fall decorations include Disney character jack-o-lanterns at the front entrance and and orange and yellow bunting up and down Main Street. The Mickey Mouse flower garden below the train station gets a Halloween mask of mini pumpkins. A 12-foot-tall Mickey Mouse jack-o-lantern dominates Town Square, with more pumpkin-head characters around the statues of Walt Disney holding hands with Mickey Mouse. The fireworks show also gets a Jack Skellington makeover.
At California Adventure, the giant letters spelling out C A L I F O R N I A are made of giant candy corn. The Hollywood Pictures Backlot is transformed into a horror flick set filled with favorite Disney villains.
Ride Enhancements:
At Disneyland, Jack Skellington and Halloweentown characters from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas take over the Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square for "Haunted Mansion Holiday," and Space Mountain introduces Ghost Galaxy.
At California Adventure, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror gets a few more cobwebs, enhanced decor and some spooky new staff.
