Columbus Day Parade - East Boston
The annual Columbus Day Parade in Boston honors the explorer, Columbus
and in recent years celebrates indigenous peoples as well. It
alternates yearly between a North End location and East Boston, and
this year it will be held in East Boston on Sunday, October 12th. Since
the parade date is only 3 days before the Oct 15th deadline to register
Massachusetts voters, we want to have a large presence and lots of
volunteers with clipboards working the crowd. Details of start time and
parade route are being sought and will be posted here soon. Please
note: Jim Bowen from East Boston will be coordinating this event.
