Baltimore Boat Show

The Baltimore Boat Show, January 21-25 at the Baltimore Convention
Center, features more than 600 boats for any lifestyle and interest,
from personal watercraft and sport fishing boats to performance boats
and luxury yachts. Hundreds of exhibitors will offer the latest in
equipment and gear, including engines, navigational devises, fishing
gear, nautical accessories and apparel at Maryland largest and longest
running indoor boating event.

The Accessories Pavilion will highlight boats available for less than
$250/month, and the Green Zone will showcase eco-friendly boats,
engines, accessories and lifestyle products. Other highlights include
the Take Me Fishing Center, with information and resources for both the
novice and avid angler and the Discover Boating Center, offering advice
and information about life on the water and boat purchases.

The Baltimore Boat Show offers five days of family fun. Visitors can
have an up-close look at Miss GEICO, the world’s fastest offshore
racing boat, and can learn about boating and fishing at daily seminars.
The Kids Cove will offer special activities for children. Guests can
also enter to win a fishing expedition with Baltimore Ravens linebacker
Jarret Johnson; Johnson will make an appearance at the Baltimore Boat
Show, as will the Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders. Another “celebrity”
greeting young visitors at the show will be Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Water enthusiasts who want to be the first to see the Baltimore Boat
show while supporting a worthy cause can attend the January 21 Special
Preview Night Benefiting the Wish A fish Foundation, a nonprofit
organization providing fishing outings for families with children with
special needs. The evening includes a silent auction, cash bar, and
live music.
