2008 Clean Air Green Tour
The 2008 Nation Clean Air Green Tour rolls into Las Vegas to promote
environmental awareness and show consumers simple ways to go green at
home, work or on the road. Part of a 120-city, coast-to-coast mobile
marketing campaign, the Tour’s centerpiece is a state-of-the-art
40-foot biodiesel motor coach equipped with solar power charging.
Visitors will have hands-on experience with well-known brands that
support environmental awareness, including a trailer fully outfitted as
a model green kitchen featuring ENERGY STAR® qualified Bosch
appliances. The annual Clean Air Green Tour will feature a sweepstakes
for a 2009 smart fortwo, the smallest car for sale in the United States
designed to get 33 miles per gallon in the city and 41 miles per gallon
on the highway.
