No seat in the theatre is more than ten rows from the stage while the spacious and flexible playing area and backstage allow for magnificent sets. The theatre is named after Pamela Brown, actress and late sister to Louisville entrepreneur and former Governor John Y. Brown, Jr. who made a gift in her honor for the construction of the new theatre complex in 1970.
