Academy of Ancient Music - J.S. Bach, Brandenburg Concertos 1-6

Academy of Ancient Music set to play all six of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos, March 19, 2009.

DENVER ¾ Director of Academy of Ancient Music, Richard Egarr a familiar face on Swaner Gates Concert Stage and will return on Thursday March 19, to lead the Academy of Ancient Music though a timeless repertoire. The concert will provide the rare opportunity to hear all six of Bach’s landmark Brandenburg Concertos. Tickets are on sale starting at $28 which includes free parking.

The Academy of Ancient Music is a period-instrument orchestra who generally play Baroque and Classical music, and all musicians are either on original instruments or modern copies from the time period in which the music was composed. The orchestra regularly plays at prestigious venues and festivals in the United Kingdom and around the world.
