42nd Annual Sunset Beach Art Festival
The Sunset Beach Art Festival is a community fundraiser which provides an opportunity to meet hundreds of artisans and craftsmen exhibiting and selling their original art and fine crafts.
The festival offers artisan’s unique work to visitors and the community. The art ranges from year to year and has featured unique paintings, one of a kind jewelry, blown glass vases, hand painted pieces, and handmade clothing.
The event features entertainment with local bands, raffles of donated items from the artists, and a hand made quilt.
The 42nd Annual Sunset Beach Art Festival is a Mothers Day tradition in Sunset Beach. The festival is held in the Community Center and on the green belt between North and South Pacific stretching from Broadway to 5th street.
The event also features entertainment, raffles, and food from local restaurants. Proceeds from the event benefit local schools plus charities for the mentally ill, homeless families, and abused women.
